Manager, Sr Manager – Consolidation
Purpose of the role | ||
The purpose of this role is – Assist in the monthly, quarterly, half-year, and year-end closing process and in the preparation of the group financial statements in compliance with IFRS – Analyze reported figures including discussion and follow-up with the responsible regional financial managers – Consult on technical (IFRS) questions coming from reporting units – Participate in the further development of financial systems – Ad-hoc tasks (analyses, presentations) and project involvement as required |

1. | Review month, quarter-, half-year- and year-end consolidated figures | Full |
2. | Assist in producing the consolidated financial statements in accordance with IFRS | Full |
3. | Create and improve reports which are used for validating and analyzing reported figures and make process improvement suggestions where applicable | Full |
4. | Analyze reported figures and discuss/follow-up with the respective regional financial manager or controller | Full |
5. | Processing audit requests during the Group audit and occasional liaising with Group auditors | Full |
6. | Consult on technical (IFRS) questions coming from reporting units | Full |
7. | Assist in reviewing the impact of the application of new standards (e.g. IFRS 16 – leases) | Full |
8. | Assist in preparing presentations for various stakeholders, including Executive Board and Advisory Board | Full |

Qualification & Experience (Education, Experience, specific knowledge, skills, understanding, attitude) | |
Education:Bachelor’s degree and qualified chartered accountant |

Experience: 3-5 years post-qualification, either Big 4 or MNC environmentwithfinancial consolidation experience | |
Knowledge & Key Skills:
· Excellent accounting and IFRS knowledge · Sound experience with consolidations in accordance with IFRS · Preferably has knowledge of SAP & BPC · Excellent communication and interpersonal skills · Ability to meet deadlines timely and work in a fast-paced environment · Analytical skills & business understanding · IAS 19, IAS 39/IFRS 9 and tax knowledge advantageous |
